To further its expertise in the evolving hydrogen market, Haskel has added one of the industry's best-known experts to its team. With more than 20 years of business development experience and extensive hydrogen market knowledge, Bob Kelly joined the Haskel team in September 2017. Kelly's role of Global Hydrogen Business Development Manager will allow us to increase our presence in the market and better serve customers with market-leading hydrogen compression solutions.

Kelly has worked across the United Kingdom, the United States and Asia, managing hydrogen business development for various companies. He is familiar with the various markets Haskel serves, and his rich background will offer an advantage to customers needing hydrogen solutions.

We at Haskel are excited to have Kelly join the team and look forward to continuing our progress with innovative hydrogen compression solutions. "Bob's expertise in the hydrogen market aligns with the efforts the company is making to advance its application-specific equipment," said Haskel Global Business Manager Stephen Learney.

In his role of Global Hydrogen Business Development Manager, Kelly will inform and advise the company, including distributors, about all aspects of the hydrogen value chain and emerging opportunities. He will also:

  • Develop relationships with companies in the hydrogen value chain as partners or customers
  • Identify competing technologies and working with the team to maintain product and service competitiveness
  • Support Haskel's objective to be a leading participant in this new and exciting market
  • Research the value chains for both hydrogen refuelling and power-to-hydrogen applications
  • Provide critical appraisal of opportunities for the company

Leveraging Kelly's experience in hydrogen allows Haskel to build on the competitive advantage we have developed in the market. The H-Drive, Haskel's new generation hydraulic-driven gas booster which recently became available for orders, reinforces our team's commitment to innovation. Haskel's engineers continuously focus on designing equipment to fit the needs of the rapidly growing hydrogen market.
